The reduced weight allows the Corvette Z06 to accelerate from 0 – 60mph in just 3.9 seconds and top out an incredible 198mph.
The Z06 is surprisingly practical for a high-performance sports car, delivering a decent ride and providing space for luggage. Seats are comfortable and the cabin is equipped with air conditioning and a stereo system. Background
The first Z06 was released as a second generation race car in 1963. The model was not seen again until 2001 when it was introduced as a high-performance variant of the Corvette C5.
