Vauxhall is set to debut the new Zafira MPV at the Geneva Motor Show.

Vauxhall design chief Mark Adams said the new Zafira would be a lounge on wheels. He went on to say, "A lounge is a place you want to escape to and relax, a place where you really want to be. We wanted to offer the same feeling in a monocab and make it the lounge you want to spend time in."

This new model will feature a panoramic roof to add extra light to the cabin. Flex7 seating will also be present, however the new Zafira will feature conventional doors - not the 'suicide doors' currently available on the Meriva.

The new Zafira will offer improved kit and quality and the concept car has a number of new design features including an improved grille which carries the new logo. Along with this it will have wing shaped headlights and blade surfacing on the sides.

Vauxhall is due to unveil a number of new designs at the Geneva Motor Show, amongst them will be the Ampera, a redesigned Corsa and Antara.
