Dacia is preparing for its UK launch with the arrival of the first Dusters on UK shores.
Twenty-two left-hand-drive Dusters arrived on the South Coast today and will be displayed in dealerships nationwide from 28th July.
The Duster off-roader will be sold alongisde the Sandero supermini, and together these cars will form Dacia's initial two car lineup.
Dacia is Renault's budget brand and the cars will be sold through Renault dealerships with the first deliveries expected next January. Details of the Duster's pricing and specifications will be released on 28th July and customers will be able to configure their car online and pre-order with a deposit of £100.
With budget brands such as Kia and Hyundai selling well in the current economic climate, it remains to be seen whether Dacia can establish itself in a crowded UK market.
