Skoda reveals Kodiaq pricing | New Release - Car News Oct 2016

Skoda have announced that prices for the all-new Kodiaq will start from £21,495 when the seven-seater SUV goes on UK sale next month.

At launch the range will have four trim levels, five engine options, the choice of two or four-wheel drive and manual or DSG automatic gearboxes.

The 1.4-litre petrol powered entry-level Kodiaq S will include LED daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, leather multifunction steering wheel, air-conditioning, Front Assist, KESSY Go, Swing touchscreen infotainment system, DAB digital radio and SmartLink for smartphone connectivity. 

Priced from £22,945, the SE trim 18-inch Elbrus alloy wheels, sunset glass, cruise control, rear parking sensors, Bolero eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with eight-inch display, dual-zone climate control, rain and light sensors and auto-dimming rear view mirrors, with the option of seven seats for an extra £1,000 and a broad range of engine options.

SE L models start from £28,595, featuring seven seats as standard, power tailgate, 19-inch alloy wheels, Columbus navigation system with WiFi, Drive Mode Select, Alcantara upholstery, heated front seats and full LED headlights.

The range-topping Edition models will be priced from £30,695, and will come with 19-inch alloy wheels, seven seats, leather upholstery, metallic paint, chrome roof rails, Lane Assist, High Beam Assist, wireless charging and phone box, and Blind spot detection.

Skoda’s Care Connect is included for the first year of ownership on all trim levels.  The system has an eCall emergency call system that is triggered after an accident, as well as a breakdown call, while its Proactive Service forwards data to the garage in prior to a vehicle’s service.  All Kodiaqs specified with satellite navigation systems also come with Infotainment Online.  

The Kodiaq range calls upon the widest range of driver assistance systems Skoda has ever offered, including new systems such as Trailer Assist, Manoeuvre Assist, and the 180-degree Area View system, as well as Front Assist including City Emergency Brake, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist, Blind Spot Detect, Rear Traffic Alert, Driver Alert, Emergency Assist on DSG models, Crew Protect Assist, Multi-Collision Brake and Travel Assist with Traffic Sign Recognition.

There are three petrol and two diesel engines available, all featuring Stop-Start system, brake energy recovery and a powerful thermo-management system that reduces fuel consumption.  A 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine comes in two power outputs – 123bhp and 148bhp – the range-topping 2.0-litre TSI produces 178bhp.  Diesel options come in the form of a 2.0litre TDI unit in a choice of 148bhp and 187bhp outputs, the latter available with 7-speed DSG 4x4 transmission only. 

The all-new Skoda Kodiaq will go on UK sale next month, with deliveries anticipated to commence in April 2017.
