Skoda have treated their best-selling Octavia model to a revamp, including a revised front and rear as well as new technology.

Five million Skoda Octavia’s have been sold across the globe during the model’s 20-year lifespan, and the latest incarnation will be rolled out over the coming months arriving in UK showrooms early next year.

Full LED headlights feature in the revised front and rear, as does a more prominent Skoda logo. The model also gains updated driver assistance systems, infotainment and connectivity. There are now three infotainment systems – dubbed Bolero, Amundsen, and Columbus – all of which boast light touch glass displays, while CareConnect is now available on all equipment levels.

Assistance systems include Trailer Assist, Front Assist, Parking Assist, Blind Spot Detection, and Rear Traffic Alert.

Other new additions to the Octavia range include a customisable key allowing multiple users to save their own vehicle settings, heated steering wheel, bottle holders which assist with opening and, in estate models, a removable torch in the boot.
