The secret is out: Renault’s new C-segment crossover will be called the Renault ARKANA.

The new model, to be unveiled at next week’s Moscow International Motor Show, will be Renault’s first global model to be produced at the company’s Moscow plant.

Its name is derived from the Latin word ‘arcanum’, or ‘secret’, with Renault hoping it will help generate and air of mystery and intrigue to its new crossover. Renault say it will bring a unique design to the SUV market, with the model due to enter the market during 2019.
