Renault’s comprehensive customer care package, 4+, has been honoured with the CarBuyer Buyers’ Award.

The new customer package launched by Renault aims to make the purchasing experience easier for British motorists by giving them peace of mind for four years after buying their vehicle.

Customers benefiting from the 4+ offer will enjoy four services during the first four years of ownership - or the first 48,000 miles (80,000 miles for vans).

Available on all new Renaults from 1st February, the package offers customers a comprehensive four year/100,000 mile warranty, four years/48,000 miles routine servicing, four years' roadside cover and up to four years of financing.

The 4+ deal covers everything essential in a standard service, including parts, labour and VAT, but excludes wear-and-tear items, such as brake pads, windscreen wipers and tyres.

As an added bonus, the package also comes with four years' worth of AA roadside cover (24 hours a day).

Renault buyers can also benefit from fixed monthly payments with Renault Selections (PCP) or Hire Purchase finance packages. The package also covers any damage to the vehicle, resulting from defects relating to material, fitting or manufacturing faults for 48 months.

Renault argue that the 4+ will leave customers to enjoy the delights of driving their car, instead of worrying about additional car-related costs.

CarBuyer Buyers' Award

The generous offering from Renault has impressed CarBuyer, which has awarded Renault's 4+ package with the inaugural CarBuyer Buyers' title.

Auto Express and CarBuyer editor-in-chief, Steve Fowler, said that for the first CarBuyer Buyers' Award, they were looking for a unique product that would ease financial and other burdens for car owners.

"We're confident that the quality of our products is now among the very best in the market, and so it was only fitting that we launched a customer care package to mirror this confidence," commented Thierry Sybord, Renault UK's Managing Director.

"We're delighted that our latest initiative has been recognised so early on, in fact within just weeks of being launched."
