Peugeot's new RCZ R, the most powerful road-going Peugeot ever made, will make its UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed next month.
We told you about the RCZ R last year, shortly before it was unveiled in concept-form at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
Underneath, it utilises a more powerful version of the RCZ's 1.6-litre THP turbocharged engine, boosted to produce an impressive 260bhp. Peugeot claims that this means that the RCZ R will offer some of the highest power/capacity figures in the world, developing 160bhp per litre.
However, despite this, the RCZ R will emit just 155g/km of CO2.
In addition to this, the RCZ R gets a bespoke suspension setup, a Torsen limited-slip differential and a new and unique alloy wheel design.
Two Red RCZ Rs will be on display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and will be driven up the hill by Bradley Philpot, a finalist in the recent Nurburgring 24 Hour Race, in which three Peugeot 208 GTis won in their class.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed will take place between 12-14 July.
