Renault has added a new range-topping trim level to its Captur line-up.

This new Signature specification model usurps the former top-of-the-range Dynamique S MediaNav by adding numerous items of standard equipment.

The Renault Captur Signature will have 17-inch alloy wheels with black inserts as well as chrome exterior details on the side strips, boot lid, front grille and fog lights. A two-tone paint finish comes as standard from a range of colour choices. Inside the Captur Signature features part-leather upholstery, model-unique door sill plates and mats, and a Red Touch Pack which adds bright red detail to the centre console, speakers and air vents. The Captur Signature’s R-Link infotainment system includes a 7-inch touchscreen, satellite navigation, USB connectivity. and an uprated radio with 3D sound. Further technology includes rear parking camera and rear parking sensors as standard. An advanced traction control system is also included, controlled via a centre console thumbwheel. These features are in addition to items already present in the Captur range, such as electric folding door mirrors, automatic climate control, tinted rear windows and tailgate, Bluetooth connectivity and LED daytime running lights.

The Renault Captur Signature is available with four engine options. The two petrol choices are a 0.9-litre TCe 90 with a five-speed manual gearbox, and a 1.2-litre TCe 120 which comes with a six-speed, dual-clutch automatic gearbox. There is also 1.5-litre dCi 90 diesel which is available as both a manual and an automatic. The most economical is the diesel-powered ENERGY dCi 90 with CO2 emissions as low as 95g/km and a fuel economy figure of 78.5mpg combined.

Prices for the Captur Signature begin a £17,495, and all models are  covered by a 4-year / 100,000 miles warranty with roadside assistance.
