The recent Business Car Manager’s annual awards voted the Hyundai i40 Tourer as ‘Best Estate Car’, triumphing ahead of other vehicles such as the Ford Mondeo Estate, Volvo V50 DRIVe and Skoda Octavia Estate.
The 2012 Business Car Manager's awards ended up with the victory of Hyundai in the Best Estate Car category. The features that convinced the panel of judges were the vehicle's efficiency, style, low costs and practicality.
The car was also praised for its environmentally-friendly characteristics, with the Hyundai i40 1.7 CRDi 115PS Blue Drive emitting just 113g/km and 65.7mpg combined. These are, Hyundai claims, among the best figures in the segment.

Tony Whitehorn, President and CEO Hyundai Motor UK, commented on this victory:

In fact, that i40 Tourer has not only been honoured in the Business Car Manager's annual awards. The vehicle was also voted 'Best Estate Car' at the 2011 Scottish Car of the Year Awards and won the 'Golden Award' at the 2011 EuroCarBody Conference.
