Jaguar are revelling in a triple celebration following the all-electric I-PACE’s success at the 2019 World Car Awards.

In a historic first, the Jaguar I-PACE picked up three World Car titles, winning the World Green Car, World Car Design of the Year, and overall World Car of the Year Awards.

The results were announced at the New York International Auto Show and decided by a panel of 86 top motoring journalists from around the globe, continuing an already successful year for the I-PACE which has seen it pick up the European Car of the Year crown, amongst others.  The UK-designed and developed I-PACE has also proved a worldwide hit with customers, having sold over 11,000 units across 60 markets thus far.  The zero-emissions SUV boasts a state-of-the-art 90kWh lithium-ion battery, capable of charging from 0-80% in just 40 minutes and with a range of up to 292 miles.  It can also claim a full five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.

Commenting on the latest accolade, Jaguar Land Rover Chief Executive, Professor Dr Ralf Speth, said, “It is an honour that the Jaguar I-PACE has received these three accolades from the prestigious World Car jurors.  For I-PACE to be awarded 2019 World Car of the Year, World Car Design of the Year and World Green Car gives our first all-electric vehicle the ultimate recognition it deserves.”

The I-PACE is available to order at Jaguar retailers priced from £60,995 on-the-road, including the UK Government plug-in vehicle grant.
