Latest test results from Euro NCAP see the new Range Rover Evoque achieve top marks for safety.

The luxury compact SUV was awarded a maximum five-star rating following a stringent programme of crash tests by Euro NCAP.  The Evoque joins its stablemates the Velar and Discovery SUV in boasting a five-star rating.

It performed particularly well in the adult occupant safety category, where it scored 94%, and also achieved an 87% mark for child occupant safety.

Each new Range Rover Evoque includes advanced driver assistance features such as Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Front and Rear Parking Aids, a Rear Camera, and a comprehensive airbag system, including pedestrian airbag, all as standard.  The ClearSight Rear View Mirror transforms into an HD video screen at the flick of a switch to offer a wider 50-degree field of vision and enhanced low light visibility, while ClearSight Ground View is an optional extra which affords the driver a 180-degree view under the front of the vehicle.

In addition, optional packs can be added to include Park Assist, 360-degree Parking Aid, Rear Traffic Monitor, Clear Exit Monitor, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Assist, and High Speed Emergency Braking.

The new Range Rover Evoque is available to order now priced from £31,600 on-the-road.
