It's been well documented that Fernando Alonso is not especially pleased with Ferrari's performance during this year's Formula One season.
The Spaniard even earned himself an ear-bashing from Ferrari head honcho Luca Di Montezemolo last week when upon being asked what he wanted for his birthday, he replied: "Someone else's car."
Well, it appears that Ferrari have listened to 'Nando's concerns and, perhaps in an effort to placate him, have plonked him into their new road car, the LaFerrari.
In a new video released by the Maranello firm, Alonso takes to the wheel of the new 963bhp 217mph V12 hypercar and goes for a bit of a hoon. It's not the first time he's been filmed putting the LaFerrari through its paces -- he took GT driver Andrea Bertolini for a spin in it in April -- but it's good to remind ourselves what a terrific kit the LaFerrari promises to be.
