Mini Convertible Overview

The Mini Convertible delivers a smooth and refined driving experience. The roof can be opened (and closed) at speeds of up to 20mph, allowing passengers to enjoy the comings and goings of sunshine and escape quickly from rain.

The car comes with a range of engines, both petrol and diesel, and sports a 6-speed transmission. The interior is well built and provides a luxurious feel inside the cabin. This quality is reflected in an asking price that is slightly higher than some of the Convertible’s rivals, however the car will depreciate slowly and resale values will be excellent.

Background

The Mini Convertible was unveiled in 2009.

The car is a 2-door and sports a 6-speed transmission, manual or automatic. It was released with headlights that were fixed to the front quarter panels, rather than being integrated with the bonnet, and a restyled grille.

The model is equipped with fuel saving technology, and an Openometer which records the amount of time that the vehicle has been in operation with its roof retracted.

Summary

The Mini Convertible is a sports car that looks great and delivers an impressive ride. As with all convertibles, practicality is an issue but the charm of a MINI is difficult to resist.
