Volkswagen has announced all the details of its new CC model, which has already arrived on UK shores.
The main features that Volkswagen wish to highlight about its new range are the vehicle's four-door practicality and coupé-like styling. The German manufacturer will be hoping that British car buyers looking for style and versatility could see the new Volkswagen CC as the perfect vehicle.
Buyers will be able to get the entry-level 1.8-litre TSI 158bhp model from £24,200, or upgrade to the range-topping GT 2.0-litre TDI 168bhp DSG with BlueMotion Technology from a starting price of £30,100.
CC Standard equipment
Volkswagen has announced that the standard features within every vehicle of the CC range will include high tech features such as RNS 315 touch screen satellite navigation system, DAB digital radio, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity and 2Zone climate control.
On top of this, the car will also feature 17-inch alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights and brake energy recuperation.
With regards to safety, the range includes a driver alert system, ESP electronic stabilisation programme and four-way adjustable front head restraints, to reduce the risk of whiplash.
Additional features are set to include High Beam Assist, which automatically controls dipping of the headlights, Side Assist, which monitors the vehicle's blind spot, Lane Assist and adaptive cruise control with City Emergency Braking function, a rear-view camera, front climate seats with massage function and an electrically deployed tow bar.
