Volkswagen has introduced a new range-topping R-line trim to its Touareg model line-up.
Based on the existing Touareg Attitude, the Touareg R-Line also gets 20-inch 'Tarragona' alloy wheels, new front and rear bumpers and side skirts, and front and rear LED lights.
On the inside, the R-Line gets a panoramic sunroof, leather seats, sat-nav, DAB and Bluetooth connectivity and extra cabin lighting. Keyless go and an electrically powered tailgate are also included as standard.
The Touareg R-Line is available with a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine producing either 201bhp or 242bhp. Both models come with an eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
Prices for the lowered powered diesel start from £44,025, while the 242bhp model is priced at £45,645.
