Vauxhall has announced the introduction of fixed priced repairs to its MasterFit service.

MasterFit is available on models over three years old at Vauxhall dealerships, and the fixed price repairs in the scheme include brake pads, brake discs, clutches, cambelts and shock absorbers, carried out with genuine parts by trained technicians with a minimum 12 month warranty.

For example, a Vauxhall Astra owner can have a new clutch fitted at a fixed price of £599, front brake pads for £99, rear brake pads for £99, front pads and discs for £159, rear pads and discs for £159, cambelt for £199, and front shock absorbers for £299, with prices including VAT.

Vauxhall Motors Service Manager Belinda Craik said, "Our fixed price repairs remove the uncertainty that can often arise with vehicle repairs, fitted by our Vauxhall trained technicians."
