Vauxhall has announced a new addition to its website which it says will provide a unique-in-industry way for customers to tailor the finance on a new car to suit their budget.

Called the Flexible Finance Calculator, the new feature available from today on www.vauxhall.co.uk, uses sliders to allow customers to adjust the monthly payment amount and duration of repayments from 24 to 60 months. First a deposit amount has to be selected from zero upwards, with Vauxhall pledging to contribute at least £500, then customers use the slider to alter the payment figure and duration to fit their budget. As an added incentive, Vauxhall has also announced that zero APR will be included on the offer which runs until 30th September.

Vauxhall's Marketing Director Peter Hope called the Flexible Finance scheme, "highly competitive finance (which) allows buyers to drive away a new Vauxhall on a bespoke, flexible monthly payment programme of their choice with the knowledge that they've bought the best car to suit their budget."

New Vauxhalls purchased on the flexible finance scheme will also come with Vauxhall's Lifetime Warranty, which covers the first owner of the car up to 100,000 miles.
