Vauxhall has announced the price list and opened the order books for the new Mokka compact crossover.
The Mokka sits below the Antara in the Vauxhall line-up and is available with a choice of three engines and three trim levels.
Two petrol engines are on offer: a 1.6-litre and a 1.4-litre Turbo, producing 113bhp and 138bhp respectively. The 1.6 petrol hits 62mph in 12.2 seconds, while the 1.4 Turbo manages it in 9.6 seconds. The 1.6 is available with FWD only, while 4WD is fitted as standard to the 1.4.
A 1.7-litre turbodiesel is also available developing 128bhp and propelling the Mokka from 0-62mph in 9.6 seconds in FWD guise and 10.2 seconds in 4WD form.
Three trim levels are available: S, Exclusiv and SE. Standard equipment across the range includes digital radio, air-con, cruise control, iPod connectivity, alloy wheels and a trip computer. Exclusiv models also get Bluetooth, rain-sensitive wipers, electric folding door mirrors, front fog lights, 18-inch alloys, and front and rear parking sensors. The top-of-the-range SE also benefits from leather seat facings, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, tinted rear windows and Bi-xenon headlights.
All models return over 40mpg on the combined cycle and the 1.7-litre diesel manages 60.1mpg in front-wheel drive form. CO2 emissions range from 124g/km for the FWD diesel to 153g/km for the 1.6-litre petrol model.
Prices start from £16,995 OTR for the S-spec 1.6, rising to £23,490 OTR for the SE four-wheel drive diesel model.
The Mokka will arrive in showrooms in November.
