Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world, is teaming up with Nissan to help develop a limited edition GT-R.

Unfortunately, Nissan has yet to release any official details on the new Usain Bolt GT-R, or confirm whether the special edition model will improve on the standard car's 542bhp and 2.8 second 0-62mph time.

Bolt has already helped the Japanese manufacturer build a special one-off GT-R, which will be auctioned on eBay later this month. The profits from the auction will go to the Usain Bolt Foundation, a charity which helps create opportunities for children and young people in Bolt's native Jamaica.

The unique GT-R is finished in gold (we can't think why), features interior fittings finished in real gold and is embossed with Bolt's signature. Discreet it ain't.

The sprinter has also developed a special GT-R for his own personal use, following his success at the 2012 Olympic Games.
