Toyota has unveiled its new and updated Yaris, which features tweaked interior and exterior styling, improved engines, lower emissions and improved fuel economy.
The new Yaris goes on sale in the UK this summer, although pricing and specification details have yet to be announced.
On the outside, the new Yaris gets the criss-cross shaped front end we first saw on the Aygo at the Geneva Motor Show in March, while at the rear end there are new headlamp units and a new bumper, diffuser and light cluster arrangement.
Inside, Toyota claims it has improved the quality of the cabin materials, and is offering a broader range of equipment and colour options.
The engine line-up is unchanged; however, the entry-level 1.0-litre petrol now produces less than 100g/km of CO2 and the hybrid churns out just 75g/km, down from 79g/km, with fuel economy improving to 85.6mpg.
Toyota has also tweaked the Yaris's suspension, which it claims will improve handling and comfort, and reduce noise and vibration levels.
