Two years since its introduction, Toyota has dropped the price of an entry level GT86 by £2,000 as part of a model range shakeup, which sees the introduction of three brand new models.
The new entry-level model, the Primo, is available from £22,995, with early customers also being given the chance of cutting this price by a further £500 for a limited time only. Standard kit includes 17-inch alloys, a limited-slip diff, aluminium pedals, air-conditioning, folding door mirrors, front fog lights, twin tailpipes, Toyota’s Touch multimedia system, Bluetooth and a new tyre pressure monitoring system.
Moving up the range, the original GT86 features in addition to this a rear spoiler, keyless entry, push-button start, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, automatic lights, LED daytime-running lights and an optional automatic gearbox.
Above the Toyoyta GT86 is the new Aero model which gets a body kit with large front and rear spoilers and side skirts, and new 18-inch alloy wheels.
Top-of-the-range is the new GT86 Giallo which gets black leather seats, gloss black door mirrors, yellow paintwork and optional free-of-cost stripe decals. Just 86 examples will be made available to UK customers. Prices for the new GT86 Giallo start from £27,495.
