Toyota has confirmed the pricing and specification details for the new Auris, ahead of its December launch.
Prices for the new Auris will start from £14,495 for the base model, rising to £21,745 for a hybrid model in top-spec trim.
In addition to the Auris Hybrid, three engines will be on offer: a 1.33-litre petrol, a 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.4-litre diesel. All liquid-fuelled models come with a six-speed manual transmission as standard, with a CVT gearbox offered as an option; the hybrid gets an E-CVT automatic as standard.
Four levels of trim will be on offer, rising from the basic Active model through Icon and Sport to the range-topping Excel.
The Active comes with automatic air-con, a stereo with USB and MP3 connectivity, electric front windows and electrically-adjustable, heated door mirrors.
Icon models add 16-inch alloys, DAB radio, touch-screen, Bluetooth, rear-view camera, all-round electric windows, front fog lights and a leather steering wheel and gear knob.
Further up the range, Sport models get 17-inch alloys, sports seats, a sports grille, a rear diffuser and rear privacy glass.
Top-of-the-range Excel models are fitted with dual-zone climate control, park assist, cruise control, automatic lights and wipers, heated front seats, black velour upholstery with leather bolsters and an auto-dimming rear view mirror.
