The Range Rover, in its current guise, is celebrating its tenth year in 2012, and three new special additions have been announced to mark the occasion.
The Range Rover TDV8 Westminster, TDV8 Autobiography and Supercharged Autobiography special editions will go on sale next month, Land Rover has confirmed.
The new Range Rover Westminster Edition replaces the TDV8 Vogue and Vogue SE models, and will have a price tag of £69,995, and have numerous specification enhancements over the models it supercedes. A bright 'Noble' finish to the front grille and side vents, silver lower splitter bar and fog lamp bezels, 20-inch alloy wheels and 'Westminster' badging identify the new special edition. It also features illuminated treadplates, luxury carpets, and bright-finished pedals. The front seats can be both heated or cooled, and Range Rover's Dual View infotainment screen allows access to a 19-speaker, surround sound audio system. Standard equipment includes an electric sunroof, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, Park Distance Control with rear-view camera, memory setting for the steering wheel, driver's seat and rear-view mirror and a heated, leather trimmed steering wheel.
There is a choice of seven exterior colours, with five interior colour combinations.
The Range Rover Westminster is powered by a 4.4-litre TDV8 engine and with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The new Range Rover TDV8 Autobiography has a price tag of £84,295, while the Supercharged Autobiography costs £86,895. They share styling features from the Range Rover Design Pack, including new front and rear bumpers, silver front grille and side vent treatments and fog lamp surrounds, integrated stainless steel exhaust finishers and side skirts, as well as 20-inch shadow chrome alloy wheels.
Inside, the rear seats boast recline and lumbar adjustment, heating and cooling functions, and adjustable headrests, while the front passenger seat itself has a memory function than can store up to three different personalised settings. Both the Autobiography models feature a 19-speaker, surround sound audio system.
Seven exterior paint options are on offer, with a range of interior colour and trim combination options.
The TDV8 Autobiography has a 4.4-litre engine and eight-speed automatic gearbox, while the Supercharged Autobiography is powered by a 5.0-litre LR-V8 petrol engine and has a six-speed automatic gearbox.
