Does your car have keyless ignition? If so, you might be shocked to see how easy it is to steal.

These CCTV pictures show a gang of car thieves stealing a £43,000 BMW 1M in less than three minutes with a blank key that cost £70.

In cars with keyless ignition, the onboard computer starts the engine when it senses that the key is in the car. However, the software used is not infallible and these photos show just how easy it is for thieves to re-programme your car's computer and simply drive away.

The car belongs to Steve Wood of Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, and he has spoken out against BMW, claiming that the German firm refuses to admit that there is an issue with the security of its cars.

BMW admitted that there had been a number of incidents like this one, but insisted that it was an industry-wide problem.
