The full pricing and specifications for the new Hyundai i40 Tourer have been announced today.
The new Hyundai i40 Tourer will go on sale from September 2011, with prices starting at £18,395 OTR, an insurance group of 12E, and the lowest 'Benefit in Kind' (BIK) cost in its class.
Three trim levels will be made available for the i40 Tourer: Active, Style and Premium. There will also be a choice of three different engines, four power outputs, and automatic or manual transmission.
For drivers who are concerned about their environmental impact and with keeping running costs low, Hyundai's Blue Drive efficiency technology, including intelligent Stop and Go system, will be fitted as standard on all Active models as well as on the Style 1.7 CRDi Blue Drive.
The i40 Tourer, which has been designed at Hyundai's R&D HQ in Germany, will be joined by a four door saloon version later on in the year.
Entry level active trim models will come with leather steering wheel (with audio controls), electric heated door mirror (with integrated LED indicators), parking brake (with automatic hold), Bluetooth connectivity (with voice recognition), and 16-inch alloys.
The higher level Style trim will also feature a touch screen satellite navigation system with rear view camera, rear and front parking sensors, dual-zone climate control, and cruise control. The highest level Premium trim also comes with keyless entry, supervision instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof and leather upholstery. The Premium trim also has the option to add a heated leather steering wheel and ventilated front seats, Smart Parking Assistant, and Lane Departure Warning.
