Renault have confirmed that the all-new Megane R.S. will arrive in the UK in time for summer.
First unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, the all-new third generation Megane R.S. is aiming to emulate its predecessors by becoming a major player in the C-segment hot hatch market.
The all-new Megane R.S. will include unique-in-class 4CONTROL four-wheel steering, hydraulic bump stops for optimal tyre-ground contact and ride comfort, a 280bhp 1.8-litre engine developed by engineers from Renault Sport Cars and Renault Sport Racing, optional Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) gearbox, and Sport or Cup chassis options.
New S. Monitor Expert, which allows drivers to film their track sessions and overlay telemetry data to create augmented reality videos that can later be analysed on the R.S. Replay website, also features, as does the S. Vision lighting system with chequered flag design integrating the side lights, cornering lights, fog lights, and high beam into one housing in the front bumper.
Pricing for the all-new Renault Megane R.S. will follow ahead of its early summer sales launch.
