Japanese car maker Suzuki has launched a summer promotion for customers in the UK, offering a no VAT deal on two of its most popular cars.

A summer promotion from Suzuki means that until the end of September this year there is no VAT payable on purchases of the Alto SZ2 and the Swift SZ2. Under the new deal an Alto SZ2 will now cost £6495, saving buyers a VAT bill of £1,715, and the Swift SZ2 three-door will cost £8,495, a saving of £1,715.

The Alto SZ2 comes with standard equipment that includes electric front windows, remote central locking and four airbags. On the combined cycle it has fuel consumption of 64.2mpg and CO2 emissions of 103g/km. Buyers who do not have the full price of the Alto SZ2 can combine the no VAT offer with a finance deal from Suzuki, meaning that they would pay a deposit of £695 followed by monthly payments of £129 and an optional balloon payment of £2,683 to keep the car at the end of the 36 month term.

For buyers of the Swift a PCP Driveplan is available in conjunction with the no VAT deal, offering monthly payments from £149. For the Swift SZ3 and SZ4 models, which are not included in the no VAT offer, Suzuki are extending the 0% finance deal which means that these cars can be purchased with monthly payments from £156.
