Car maker Subaru has announced the launch of a brand new three year after care package, appropriately named Everything Taken Care of (Subaru ETCo).
The comprehensive aftercare package is included in the price of every new Subaru now bought and the car maker claim that the additional benefits the aftercare package offer are worth more than £7,000 in total.
The Subaru ETCo is offered in addition to Subaru’s existing three-year (60,000-mile) manufacturer’s warranty, 12-year anti-corrosion bodyshell cover and three-year paintwork warranty, and also lasts for three years.
“Totally free with every new Subaru, this innovative – and we believe industry leading programme – is a package of services and promises, specifically designed to complement the lifestyle of the typical Subaru buyer and to enhance the car ownership experience – year after year,” says Marketing Director of Subaru UK, Kenyon Neads.
“Subaru ETCo is available to all Subaru retail customers and we believe it has no rival in the UK as an aftercare package.”
For any motorists looking to purchase a new Subaru and perhaps unsure of the car’s resale value, another incentive – if one was needed – is the fact that the aftercare package can be passed on to second hand car buyers too for up to three years in total.
The Subaru ETCo cover includes up to £1,000 per year on minor scratches and dents for up to 3 years as well as a free ‘wash and vac’ every month, for 11 months each year for three years.
If you lose your keys, these are taken care of too: amazingly – given the price of today’s sophisticated keys – Subaru drivers can claim a new set of keys once per year to the value of £350, for three years.
