Skoda has launched the Yeti Adventure, a new special edition model which costs the same as the existing SE model but includes more than £2,250 worth of additional equipment.

In addition to the equipment currently available as standard on SE models, the Adventure also gets 17-inch black-and-chrome 'Matterhorn' alloy wheels, a black roof with black door mirrors, silver roof rails and black side mouldings with chrome ledges. Two exterior colours are on offer: Candy White and Brilliant Silver Metallic, both of which come with a black roof.

On the inside, there's new special edition 'Adventure' upholstery with silver stitching and tyre print design. The Adventure also comes with DAB radio, Bluetooth, a multi-function steering wheel and Skoda's Amundsen+ satellite navigation system.

The Yeti Adventure is available in both two- and front-wheel drive form and is available with a manual gearbox only. The two-wheel drive model gets a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine with 108bhp, while the four-wheel drive model gets the same engine but with 138bhp.

The two-wheel drive model returns 55.4mpg and emits 134g/km of CO2, while the four-wheel drive model emits 152g/km and achieves 48.7mpg.

Prices will start from £18,640 for the two-wheel drive model and £21,215 for its four-wheel drive brother, when the Yeti Adventure goes on sale on 22 July.
