If you are looking for a bargain deal on a new car, then Skoda is hoping that they can tempt you to buy into their brand with a massive 25% reduction in the price of the Octavia model.
2000 entry level Octavia cars are going on sale in the UK at just £10,995 – that’s a 25% saving with £3,735 being slashed off the usual list price for this model.
The discount Octavias are to be made available to order from Skoda dealers immediately, and will be based on the Octavia SE specifications. That means they will come with Skoda’s 1.6-litre petrol engine and a five-speed manual gearbox. With 101bhp the SE goes from 0-62mph in 12.3 seconds and can manage a top speed of 118mph.
With fuel consumption coming in at 39.8mpg the CO2 emissions of these cars is 166g/km.
Other features which will be available as standard on the discount cars include a trip computer, electric heated door mirrors, electric windows both front and rear, air conditioning, ABS, a six-CD changer stereo system with touch screen controls, and 15-inch alloys on the wheels.
