Skoda has launched the new range-topping Laurin and Klement trim for its Octavia, with prices starting at £26,570.
Revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the Octavia Laurin and Klement is designed to slot into the range above the existing Elegance spec, adding features such as 18-inch alloy wheels, adaptive xenon headlights, brown Alcantara and leather upholstery, LED rear lights, adaptive cruise control and cornering front lights.
Two engines will be on offer: the new 1.8-litre TSI petrol engine with 178bhp and the 2.0-litre TDI diesel with 148bhp. Either engine can be specified with a six-speed manual gearbox or a DSG automatic. Four-wheel drive is also available if you go for the manual estate.
Prices for the Octavia L&K start from £26,570 for the petrol hatch, rising to £28,665 for the 2.0-litre 4x4 diesel estate. This makes the L&K £4,100 more than the equivalent Elegance model.
The Octavia Laurin and Klement is available to order now.
