Skoda has been voted the best car maker for the third year running in the Auto Express Driver Power customer satisfaction survey.

Czech car maker Skoda has once again come out on top in the Driver Power survey, winning 'Best Manufacturer', with the Skoda Superb taking the number one spot as the 'Best Car'. This is the third year in a row that Skoda has taken home the best manufacturer award.

In addition to the two top spots, the Yeti came in second in the 'Best Car' award, and the Octavia came in fourth for the same award. The winning cars were picked based on the votes of over 23,000 website users and magazine readers.

The Acting Editor of Auto Express, Graham Hope, said of Skoda's remarkable successes in the awards, which are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year:

"It's been another fantastic year for Škoda in our Driver Power survey. Its cars are setting the pace for rivals to follow, and as the brand's performance over the years has shown, others are struggling to keep up."

Skoda UK Brand Director Robert Hazelwood accepted the award on behalf of his company, saying:

"Being voted 'Best Manufacturer' in the Auto Express Driver Power Survey for the third consecutive year is a fantastic achievement for Škoda and our retailers.

"Winning any award is always a great boost, but those linked to customer satisfaction are particularly well received. Along with value for money and excellence in engineering, great customer service is one of the key strategies in our continuing mission to take the Škoda brand forward."
