Skoda has announced details of its new Fabia Monte Carlo Tech, a new limited-edition version of the Fabia Monte Carlo with satellite navigation and Bluetooth connectivity.
These additions would push the price of a standard Monte Carlo up by £895, but the Monte Carlo Tech costs the same as the standard car, with prices starting from £11,900.
Just 1,000 cars will be built and all will come with a number of exterior modifications, including piano-black body trim, black door mirrors, a black radiator grille top, smoked headlights and black 17-inch alloy wheels. The car is also available in two different colour combinations: red with a black roof, or black with a red roof.
On the inside there are black sports seats, black rooflining, a perforated leather steering wheel with red stitching and a leather handbrake and gearstick gaiter. Silver kick plates and steel pedals are also fitted as standard.
Buyers have a choice between two engines: a 1.2-litre petrol unit and a 1.6-litre diesel, both with 104bhp.
The original Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo was launched back in January 2011 to commemorate 100 years of the Monte Carlo rally and 110 years of Skoda's commitment to motorsport.
