Skoda has fitted its brand new Yeti Urban with exciting new technology in a bid to appeal to a younger, more tech-savvy generation.
The vehicle is equipped with extra equipment worth up to £2,450 at no extra cost.
The Yeti Urban will also offer Amundsen+ satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and a multi-function steering wheel which controls the telephone and audio system.
Other additional design features include the 17-inch black-and-chrome 'Matterhorn' alloys, wheel arch extensions, chrome side strips, silver door mirror caps and silver roof stripes.
Consumers can choose between red or black sports seats and sunset glass in the rear. Two engines are available with the Yeti Urban. The 1.2-litre TSI is the petrol option, which delivers 44.1mpg and produces 149g/km of CO2 emissions.
The diesel engine is a 2.0-litre TDI CR DPF, which performs economically at 52.3mpg and emits 140g/km of CO2.
In excess of 8,000 of the Skoda Yeti compact 4x4s have been registered, serving to demonstrate the success of the vehicle.
Only 750 Yeti Urbans will be made available. They are specifically designed to target a younger and more style-conscious UK buyer.
The vehicle paves the way for Skoda as it is the first Skoda in the UK to feature DAB digital radio as standard.
Skoda is not charging for metallic paint, so the vehicle can be finished in Black Magic pearl effect, Candy White, Brilliant Silver Metallic and Steel Grey Metallic.
Stainless steel pedals, sports exhaust trim and a DVD player are available at an additional cost.
The Skoda Yeti Urban is priced at £16,900 OTR for the petrol model and the diesel model will be available from £18,330.
The vehicle will be on sale from the beginning of April.
