If you're the sort of person who sells drugs in the inner cities AND enjoys a spot of serious off-roading in the desert at the weekends, we think we've found the perfect car for you.
This is the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6, and the first thing you'll notice about it is that it has six wheels. That's right, six wheels. We feel it's important to point out -- for our less car-savvy readers -- that this is two more than usual.
Under the bonnet, the G63 AMG is fitted with AMG's twin-turbocharged 5.5-litre V8 engine, which develops 563bhp and 560lb-ft of torque. Although no official performance figures have yet been released, the 6x6 is rumoured to be capable of hitting 62mph in less than six seconds -- quite a feat for a car which weights almost 3.8 tonnes -- while at the top end the speed is limited to 100mph. This might not sound like a lot, but realistically you don't want to be doing any more than this over sand dunes.
The power from the car's monstrous V8 is fed through a seven-speed automatic gearbox to all six wheels, wheels which we feel the need to mention measure 37-inches in diameter.
As you'd expect, the G63 6x6 is a heavy drinker. You'll get around 15mpg, which sounds awful, but is actually not too bad when you consider the car's size. A Range Rover with a V8 engine and just four wheels, by comparison, will only manage 19mpg combined.
Anyway, fuel economy is likely to be an irrelevance to anyone wealthy enough to afford the G63 6x6. At £350,000 it is not only three times more expensive than the standard, four-wheeled G63, but also the most expensive car Mercedes-Benz makes.
Expect to see a fleet of them lining the streets of Chelsea very soon.
