SEAT's has launched a new super-efficient diesel version of its Exeo family car, the Exeo Ecomotive.
The new Exeo is powered by a 2.0-litre common rail diesel engine which is offered with two power outputs: 118bhp and 141bhp. Despite the power difference, both models emit just 177g/km of CO2 and return a combined 62.8mpg.
The Ecomotive achieves these impressive figures thanks to start/stop technology, an energy recovery system and low rolling resistance tyres.
The Ecomotive engine is available across the Exeo range, from the base-spec S models right through to the top-of-the-line Sport and Sport Tech trims.
SEAT has been putting Ecomotive badges on its greenest cars for a while now, and 41.3% of all the SEATs sold so far this year have been Ecomotive models.
The new Exeo is available to order now with prices starting from £20,040.
