SEAT has revealed its new facelifted Ibiza Cupra.

The new Cupra was first shown in concept form at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show, and as you can see from the pictures, the production-ready model looks almost identical to the concept.

Underneath the bonnet you get a 1.4-litre turbocharged engine which sends 178bhp and 184lb-ft of torque to the front wheels via a 7-speed DSG gearbox. 0-62mph takes just 6.9 seconds and flat-out the Cupra will do 142mph.

The Cupra gets SEAT's new corporate face, bringing it in line with the rest of the Ibiza range, and features new front headlamps, LED daytime running lights, 'forceful' air intakes and a massive central hexagonal exhaust.

On the inside, the new Cupra gets the SEAT Portable System, already seen on the Mii city car, which features Bluetooth audio streaming, sat-nav, Micro SD card slot, hands-free connectivity and an on-board computer. The system is also removable for mobile use.

The SEAT Ibiza Cupra is available to order now, with prices starting from £18,825.
