SEAT is celebrating today after its newest car, the Alhambra MPV, took home two awards in a single day.

The Alhambra, a flexible seven seat MPV from Spanish car maker SEAT, was today named as 'Best MPV' by both Fleet World and Diesel Car. These latest honours mean that SEAT Alhambra has now won a total of 4 key national awards since its UK debut last November. The other awards were from Car Buyer and What Car? who both gave the Alhambra the title of 'MPV of the Year'.

The latest awards praise the Alhambra for its flexibility, build quality, and its value for money.

The acclaimed SEAT Alhambra is available in three trim levels - S, SE, and SE Lux, with prices starting from £22,815. It also features a choice of turbocharged petrol or diesel engines, and a choice of two transmission options - a six-speed manual or a six-speed DSG automatic with the option of sequential manual operation using steering wheel-mounted paddle shifts.

The Fleet World Honours award was picked up by Nick Andrews, the Head of Fleet and Business Sales at SEAT UK, in a ceremony at the Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall. Winners were picked for these honours by the Fleet World Editorial staff to reward vehicles they believe have achieved excellence in their sector.

Meanwhile, over at the Diesel Car Awards, Editor Ian Robertson presented the award, saying of the SEAT Alhambra:

"It looks stylish, packs in plenty of space for seven people and a load of kit, and is as practical as they come."
