The award winning SEAT Alhambra is now breaking new records on the UK used car market.

The SEAT Alhambra, which won What Car? Magazine's MPV of the Year title for 2011, amongst other awards, is now making its debut in the British used car market, with the first official approved used examples of the Alhambra recently going up for bidding in a closed auction of SEAT UK dealers in Leicestershire at the Fleet Auction Group. Second hand Alhambras will now be made available at dealerships across the country.

10 cars were up for sale in the auction, and 25 SEAT dealers from around the UK were there to place their bids. After the strong sales performance of new Alhambra in the UK, thanks to its balanced mix of style, quality, practicality and value for money, demand was strong for these first used models.

The most popular car with bidders was a 138bhp Alhambra SE 2.0 TDI CR Ecomotive in 'Reflex Silver' with just under 10,000 miles on the clock. This car sold for £23,700 - 22% above the CAP 'clean' valuation.

Although the bidding was not open to the public, this shows that resale values for the SEAT Alhambra will be exceptionally high.
