Having already announced the launch of the first of four cars which will make up the firm’s electric vehicle range – the Kangoo Van Z.E. – Renault have now released the full list of UK dealers where buyers will be able to purchase an electric Renault car and access support and information.
Twenty one dealerships have been branded 'Z.E. Expert', and are already offering the full range of sales and after-sales services for Renault's electric vehicle (EV) range. Each site has been put through an infrastructure upgrade programme, and comprehensive staff training. At each showroom a minimum of two fully trained Z.E. sales specialists will be available to provide information to potential buyers about everything from charging options, to battery hire plans designed to reassure customers who have worries about powertrain replacement costs and performance, right through to funding options. Z.E. Expert dealerships will also be able to offer advice to new buyers about how to make the most of the benefits offered by an electric car, as well as the most important environmental factors which should be taken into account before making a purchase.
Every one of the sites will also have a Kangoo Van Z.E. demonstrator so that customers can try before they buy.
After sales care offered at the sites will come from a trained service manager with two technicians. Each site has been equipped with the necessary equipment to handle all of the service and maintenance demands of an electric car, as well as charging points which will be made available to anyone who owns a Renault Kanga Van Z.E.
The Managing Director of Renault UK, Mr Thierry Sybord, has said of the announcement:

In addition to the specialist dealerships Renault are providing online video guides, and a freephone UK number (08000 72 33 72). Any Renault showroom across the country will also be able to refer customers to their local Z.E. Expert.
