Renault have announced that they are reducing their prices for the Dynamique and GT models of the Gordini, as well as introducing a new model.
Drivers who want to enjoy the warm summer will find that open-top driving in a Renault just got cheaper. The French firm are reducing the prices of their two current Gordini Roadster cars by up to £2,215, meaning that an entry priced model now costs just £12,995. This price reduction also coincides with the release of a new model.
The newest Gordini will come with the trademark Malta Blue metallic paint, with twin Gordini stripes in a choice of Glacier White or Pearl Black. The external design of the new car benefits from the addition of white door mirrors, grille trim and cowls, and 17 inch alloy wheels with black inserts and a polished face.
The two seat cars will come in 1.2-litre and 1.6-litre versions, and include an innovative roof system which rotates closed in a time of 12 seconds.
Inside the cabin a sporty and upmarket feel is attained through the Gordini blue and dark grey leather seats which are embossed with the Gordini logo, a numbered plaque (1-200), satin chrome effect gearknob with a blue Gordini badge, and a blue gearstick surround.
There is also a good range of standard equipment included with this car, including climate control and multi-functional TunePoint offering USB connectivity. Security is ensured with a high quality Thatcham Category 1 alarm.
In addition to the standard features there are three main upgrade options which are being made available for the new Wind Roadster. For the 1.6 version buyers can choose to add a striking Renaultsport exhaust for £450, or buyers of either version can switch to blue inserts on the 17 inch alloy wheels, and buy a wind deflector priced at £200.
