Online shoppers represent a huge and growing market, so French car manufacturer Renault have decided it is now time for them to get a piece of this pie with the launch of a new online merchandise store.
The new store will make it possible for online shoppers to purchase a wide range of Renault branded products, including gifts and toys such as miniature cars, plus Motorsport memorabilia including Gordini, Renaultsport, Red Bell and Lotus Renault GP Formula 1 products.
To celebrate the launch the firm are running a special offer at the store, whereby the first 150 shoppers who spend £35 or over at the new shop will get a free Renaultsport baseball cap. This can be claimed by entering the special code 'LaunchOffer' at the checkout, when prompted to do so.
The new store has been built to include a range of interesting features, such as dynamic imaging technology with a 'roll over' function to magnify an image so that you can take a closer look before making a purchase. It will also include social sharing buttons which let you post photos of products which you have purchased from the order confirmation page.
Orders made through the site will be sent out by the Renault Retail Group dealership network, and are dispatched within 4 working days via recorded delivery. Customers will be able to pay using all major credit and debit cards except for American Express, and will receive an automatic email confirmation of their order. Orders can also be sent out to any address, so that it is easy to purchase gifts and have them sent straight to the recipient.
Renault UK Director Mark Crockett commented on the new e-commerce initiative, saying:
"Renault merchandise has always been hugely popular and now it's never been easier to browse and order a selection of great products. Whether you're looking to treat yourself or buying something for Father's Day or Christmas for the F1 fan in your family, we've got everything from shirts to key rings to pedal cars, to suit every kind of budget. There are also practical items such as luggage, as well as exclusive Longchamp and Mont Blanc merchandise."
