Peugeot have confirmed the specification details and UK launch date for their new look 308.
The French car maker have confirmed that the new look 308 range, which will be seen for the first time at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, will go on sale in the UK in May with prices starting at £15,245. The 308 will come in three body styles - hatchback, CC, and SW. All three body styles are available in Access, SR, Active, and Allure trim levels, while top-of-the-range hatchback and CC's gain an extra trim level called GT.
The range will feature Peugeot's 1.6-litre HDi FAP 112 diesel engine, now including the manufacturer's new micro-hybrid e-HDi stop & start technology, available with both 6-speed manual and 6-speed electronically controlled manual gearboxes. This power unit will give the new 308 Congestion Charge beating CO2 emissions of 98g/km. There will be a total of eight engine options available, with four petrols and four diesels on offer.
Standard equipment on the new 308 includes air conditioning, electronic stability control, electric windows, remote central locking, ABS, and six airbags.
