Peugeot have announced that they are now taking orders for the new 3008 full diesel hybrid.
The first examples of the 3008 HYbrid4, which is powered by a 163bhp 2.0-litre diesel engine combined with a 37bhp electric motor, will be special Limited Edition models to celebrate its launch. The Limited Edition will benefit from tinted headlamps with LED daytime running lights, Pearl White paintwork, two-tone leather upholstery, leather fascia with numbered aluminium identification plate, leather steering wheel with aluminium detailing, front parking sensors, and full-length panoramic glass roof. Of a production run of 300 vehicles, just 35 of the Limited Edition will be available in the UK priced at £29,995 and deliveries will commence in October.
UK Deliveries of the rest of the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 range, with prices starting from £26,600, will begin the following month.
The combination of diesel and electric power offers a maximum power output of 200bhp, combined fuel economy of 74.4mpg, and CO2 emissions of 99g/m. In all-electric mode the all-wheel drive 3008 HYbrid4 produces zero tailpipe emissions.
