Peugeot have announced the addition of two extra models to its 3008 range.
The 3008 SR model is based on the existing Sport variant, but with an enhanced level of standard equipment. The SR comes with colour satellite navigation, Bluetooth, grip control and 16-inch alloy wheels. The SR is fitted with a 112bhp HDi diesel engine with CO2 emission levels ranging from 129g/km to 135g/km, depending on whether you opt for the 6-speed manual gearbox or the 6-speed auto. Peugeot have admitted the model has been released with the fleet market in mind and prices start at £20,645 for the 6-speed manual version, which returns a combined fuel economy of 55.6mpg. Prices rise to £21,195 if purchased with a 6-speed electronically controlled gearbox, which sees a marginal improvement in fuel economy to 57.7mpg.
Also based on the Sport, the ENVY comes with tinted rear windows, exterior aluminium detailing, head-up display and panoramic glass roof, and is available with a choice of either diesel or petrol power. The 120bhp 1.6-litre VTi petrol-engined model comes with a 5-speed gearbox, returns 40.1mpg and CO2 emissions of 159g/km, and has a purchase price of £18,895. The 3008 ENVY HDi 112 shares the same diesel engine as the SR, but with the standard 6-speed manual gearbox only. Priced at £20,495, it returns 55.6mpg combined, and emits 135g/km of CO2.
