Porsche has revealed its new 911 Black Editions. The 911 Black will be available as both a coupe and cabriolet and just 1,911 examples will be produced.
The cars will be based on the existing 911 Carrera Coupe and Cabriolet models, and will be fitted with Porsche's trademark flat-six, producing 345bhp.
The cars will be available in a choice of two colours, plain black and Basalt Black metallic, and will feature a host of styling tweaks unique to the model. 19-inch black alloy wheels, paired with black brake callipers and black lettering on the door entry guards complete the exterior look while the black theme is carried on inside with black seats, a black instrument cluster and a special edition badge on the glove box lid. How more black could it be?
Standard kit includes a BOSE surround sound system, with 13 speakers and a 385W output, sat-nav, MP3 connectivity, ParkAssist, cruise control and rain-sensing wipers.
The Black Editions go on sale here in April and will be priced from £67,270 for the Coupe and £74,958 for the cabrio. And in case you were wondering what colour fabric the soft-top is made from, well, you'll just have to wait until April.
