Nissan has updated its Pixo city car with a range of styling tweaks and improved CO2 emissions.
The new Pixo features a revised version of the old car's 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. The changes mean that the Pixo now emits just 99g/km of CO2, exempting it from both VED and the London Congestion Charge. The Pixo will also return 65.7mpg on the combined cycle.
Two new exterior colours have been made available to Pixo buyers: Glistening Grey and Midnight Purple. The interior has also been smartened up thanks to new black trim around the glove box and centre console.
Unfortunately, the Pixo is no longer Britain's cheapest car -- an honour belonging to the Renault Twizy -- but the new Pixo will cost the same as the old model, with prices starting from £7,250 and rising to £8,250 for the top-of-the-range n-tec version.
