Suzuki has announced a range of 'affordability' finance offers for the new year.

Suzuki is extending its no-VAT offer on Alto SZ3 and SZ4 cars. With the recent rise in VAT to 20%, this now represents savings of up to £1,423.

In addition to the extension of this VAT free offer, Suzuki is also introducing a low deposit monthly payment option with new Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) schemes on all Alto and Swift models. Under this new PCP offer buyers would pay a deposit from as little as 2%, followed by 36 monthly payments and a final balloon payment to keep the car at the end of the term. For an Alto SZ3 this would mean a deposit of £149, monthly payments of £149, and a balloon payment of £2,742. The Alto is Suzuki's most affordable car to buy and own, with an insurance group of 1E and fuel consumption of 64mpg.

A Swift SZ2 three door would require a deposit of £1,900 under the new range of PCP plans, monthly payments of £165, and an optional balloon payment of £3,626.

Hire Purchase (HP) plans are also available over a 48 month term and with an interest rate of 6.5% APR. The 1.6-litre Swift Sport will be available under Hire Purchase with a 10% deposit, or with 0% interest over three years if you can afford a 50% deposit. The 0% APR three year HP offer is also available on Swift, Splash, SX4 and Grand Vitara models until the end of March 2011.
