Vauxhall has introduced a new 'warm' version of its popular supermini, the Corsa Black Edition.

The Corsa Black Edition is fitted with a 1.4-litre turbocharged engine which develops 118bhp and 129lb-ft of torque. This means the Black Edition will hit 60mph in 9.7 seconds and will run out of puff at 121mph.

The Corsa's engine is fitted with Start/Stop which means 51.4mpg on the combined cycle and CO2 emissions of 129g/km.

The Black Edition also gets 17-inch diamond-cut alloys, along with a new front spoiler, new rear spoiler and new side sills. Smoked headlights, tail lights, and dark tinted rear windows ensure that the Black Edition lives up to its name.

Inside, the Black Edition is fitted with a leather-covered steering wheel, sports seats, sports pedals and chrome air vent surrounds.

Only 500 Black Editions will be made in both three- and five-door body styles.

The Corsa Black Edition is on sale now with prices starting from £15,995 for the three-door and £16,425 for the five-door.
